MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB Under the overall guidance of the Executive Director the M&E Coordinator will be responsible for the monitoring and ensuring high quality and timely inputs, and that BOCONGO projects maintain the organization’s strategic vision. The M&E Coordinator will also ensure that activities result in the achievement of its intended outputs in a cost effective and timely manner. The M&E Coordinator will be responsible for designing and implementing the M&E activities of BOCONGO Project including assisting the Projects Coordinator in preparing Monthly/Quarterly/Annual reports on projects progress, monitoring project activities on a regular basis, developing and maintaining Projects MIS and collection & analysis of different data in relation to project activities. The Monitoring and Evaluation Coordinator works in close collaboration with projects team, Government officials, Private Sector, and Civil Society Organizations.

Education:
• University Degree preferably in Social Sciences or related field.
Experience:
• At least 3 years of experience in the design and implementation of M&E/MIS in development projects implemented by national/international NGOs, Development Partners and Government;
• Experience in designing tools and strategies for data collection, analysis and production of reports;
• Proven ICT skills, especially in the development of MIS software using database software;
• Expertise in analyzing data using statistical software;
• Strong training & facilitation skills.
• Fluency in written and spoken Setswana and English.
