BOCONGO recognizes the challenges faced by different sectors in working together for the greater good for inclusive development. Civil society organizations have over the years experienced significant challenges in their administrations, which calls for capacity strengthening.
BOCONGO thus acknowledges that many NGOs have limited capacities and skills to to be able to execute their mandates in the civil society space.
Thus, BOCONGO continuously provides capacity strengthening to ensure that CSOs are better equipped to execute their mandates.
Furthermore, BOCONGO creates a platform for Networking, Partnerships & opportunities for Capacity strengthening to encourage networking, sharing ideas, and establishing strategic partnerships between NGOs and development partners. Partnerships are usually proposed on a long term basis to include skills development, capacity strengthening in different fields, staff volunteerism, and any other support financial or otherwise that can be established by the council.
We bring together NGOs and development partners to exchange ideas, learn and explore ways of building more productive ties between CSOs and stakeholders.
We seek to ensure that there is clear alignment in implementing of projects with key policy documents including NDP11, Vision 2036 and the SDGs.
Increating networking opportunities we ensure that there is collaboration between NGOs, to join resources in implementation and better contribute to implementation of community building projects noting that most NGOs are under-resourced when working in silos.
